Lexen XPC summary - VIDEO

What a great time this weekend.

It was a tough week with two flights before the flight heading to columbus. The best thing I did though is not take things too far with getting the weight off. I ate well, healthy and appropriately. I weighed in at 180.5.

The day of the meet I'm never in the best of moods, usually just nervous and excited all at once. I'm really good at staying focused and typically just mellow out on my own.

Everything felt great. Missed lifts that I felt I should have had but they literally just didn't go up LOL. Strength is a funny thing.

815 - good
850 - good *easier than 815
880 - miss *stapled

525 - good
550 - miss
550 - miss
*the darnest thing. I have created a HUGE weakness at the 3 board level. see video and you will see how I suddenly hit a wall at that stage of the lift and really could not muster through it.

640 - good
680 - good
700 - miss *really thought it was in the cards with how 680 felt. but, NOPE.

I had a ton of fun on this day. Danny did a fantastic job and I am really excited to see how this event is going to develop. I really think the right person is in the driver seat to take this to the Arnold. No agendas, no spite off's, no attitudes just down right POWERLIFTING.

Time to sit down and get things organized to start improving. It's there and I am looking forward to getting back in saddle.

I have to thank a few folks for really spending their time and energy in making sure I was prepared. For starters, my man Craig Christopher, this guy handles and coaches me to the point where I can just relax with everything else. It's become a mandatory to have him around. I have to thank Landon Evans for making himself available, I don't think I have ever trusted someone with training as much as I do him. I also have to thank my team, who play a huge role every week in supporting me and helping me out: Michael greeno, josh wilson, sam bremer, scott, greg denny and the sometimes there hollywood brad.

Last but not least, my wife for her continued love and passion for me and our family. Dave Tate and elitefts team for their amazing support and dependability.

Here is the video: I am missing my opener bench and opener deadlift:

*Thank you to Ria Carrol for taking the vids, one of the most pleasent gals you will ever meet.

I live for the Lord Jesus Christ.....,
Al Caslow
