So far, I have literally been very lazy since the meet - in terms of training.
But extremely active with my family and work. For whatever reason, typically when I am 2 weeks out from my meet, my priorities are swayed and my focus is very tunnel like.
Last week was catch up. Which I hate, I like to be up to speed.

I have trained though, check it out:
Pull ups - 3 x 8 x BW
DB hammer curls - 3 x 12 x 25lbs
Dips - 2 x 20 x BW
Face Pulls - 2 x 20 x mini band

Belt Squats - 3 x 8 x 90lbs
Lunges - 2 x 20 steps each leg x Bar
Janda sit ups - 3 x 15 x BW

I did this stuff at home in my garage in between work, emails, phone calls and family time. Just dropped it in my day and rushed through it.

I am extremely motivated to get started with training. But last week and this week are very tough to center and line up serious training so March 18th it begins.

My competitive plans are somewhat uncertain with a few tentative meets in mind.

As for the training, for starters a few things I noted from the XPC specifically for each lift were needing attention:
1. Squats
a. Chest Caving in, leaning to0 far forward
b. Weak abs (hard time staying tight in the hole)
c. wear full gear more often (Something Carrol and I spoke about that made sense, as much as I hate to admit it, J/K Shrek)
2. Bench
a. Terrible lock out
b. Tighten my King Bash in the chest plate
3. Deadlift
a. I petered out when I shouldn't have.??

The training I'm not quite sure yet. One thing I have never done is worked with someone from the get go and through out. I have tossed in folks to help out here and there but it's typically when something is going wrong and usually towards the end of a cycle, when I'm desperate in other words. This go around, Landon Evans has told me to really consider giving him the reigns and really see how he goes about things. After bringing him in at random times numerous occasions in preparation for meets I have come to realize I feel very comfortable with him. Best of all, what he prescribes and how he helps out - WORKS and works very well. Before the XPC meet, I sent him a text letting him know that's what I want.
I'm too busy to train and think, LOL. But I want to get better, I want to get stronger. Sick of just "going to do my best with what I have." I'm getting older, turned 32 on sunday, so time's ticking. I can't waste my time any more doing shit wrong then hurrying to fix it. I have a guy who knows his shit better than anyone I know, someone I trust and consider a friend who wants to help? I would be foolish at this point in my life to turn this away.
