Another Fun Sunday: April 1, PRs Abound!

Finally everyone was going to train together. After all the smack that has been talked since Christmas, I knew that this was going to be a great day to remember.

I had no plans to deadlift anything heavy but I didn't want to just do nothing. Charis had about 10 events planned, Stathis had been very VERY sick as well and had dropped a good 15 lbs fast.

Not knowing what we would do, I knew that it would be great.

Charis began his OLY lifting with what seemed like about 10 different Olympic Lift variations, then I finally had all 9 of my gym bags out of my car and into the gym AND Stathis and Fanos had completed their Judo Warm Up and cigarette breaks.

I expected big things from Fanos, as it was not a skip training week or a deload week...which only leaves his MAX OUT week. :)

Deadlifts with EFS Pro Short Monster Mini Band (90 lbs)
triples up to 495, straight to band good mornings with EFS Pro Average Band, straight to 6 reps on GHR

Then Charis Squatted...because it would take me 20 minutes to change into my OLY shoes.

Axle Clean and Press
lots of warm ups (For me)
90 kg x 1
110 kg x 1

Charis and I now switched into Knight Rider Mode!

125/275 x 1
135/297 x 1
145/319 x 1...PR and smooth

I then watched the guys do Atlas Stones.

THEN...things got weird! All it took was one guy jumping onto the Pyramid Platform before everyone had to prove their manhood. Not much was proven!

Before I left I did some floor press for 3 sets of 20 reps with the 2 3/8 inch axle, GHR, and Abs.

Straight home for food and sleep...
