Monday training

The Learn to Train Seminar is a month away. I’m scheduled as a “Speaker” along with some other nobodies in the industry. Nobodies like Chad “Juggernaut” Smith, John “mountain dog” Meadows, Jeremy Frey, CJ Murphy and Dave Tate. Not too intimidating of a line-up to be presenting with eh? These are accomplished men with real jobs, actual salaries, notable credentials, training methods and have written books and have presented at many seminars. While they were busy accomplishing all that I was busy running all over the world lifting, and throwing heavy stuff while playing grab ass with highland games groupies. So needless to say I still don’t have solid idea what I’m going to say and I’m kind of nervous about looking like an idiot. I have been thinking a lot about it so I should come up with something worthwhile in the next month.

Training today:
Bench Press:
Worked up to 405x7x1, 315x8, 225x16 (was supposed to do 10 singles with 405 but my triceps starting pooping out and because of my on and off-again pec tear I don’t like to grind any weights out on the bench. I don’t know what happened to my Stevey P signature muscular endurance today.

Smith machine inclines: 4 all out sets, 15, 13, 12, 10

Cable flyes: 4x15

Triceps pushdowns supersetted with close grip push-ups: 4 sets

30 minutes on eliptical

Please Note: This weekend is the Iron Sport Power Classic. Come on down, admission is free to spectators, should be a good time. . . until, of course, I have to clean the entire gym afterwards by myself. More info here:
