Day 1 Week 7 - Squats (sort of)
Before I even got to the gym I felt like utter ass. Being in the gym didn't help, basically was going through the motions. Barely did anything, check it out:
bar x 2 x 10 reps
145 x 2 x 5 reps
235 x 5
325 x 3
545 x 3 reps
605 x 3 reps
*by this time, my right leg was numb and purple. Even though I said the ACE briefs need to be altered to fit better (looser) after texting with Driggers about how the hell he can fit into the same pair I wear weighing 40lbs more I gave it one more go. But it's just something I am just not used to.
After I took off my gear to reset. I canned the session. I barely even had the energy to take the shit off let alone, re-do the whole putting on-train-take it off process. Sam still had sets left so I stuck around to help him while I rehabbed my adductor.
I'm going to try again tomorrow with bench, but I feel ass backwards i'll call it. This is the last week of this phase if I need to make up sessions, so be it.
I need to get my squat geared squared away, that has something to do with it. My current suit is 3 years old, ripping at the threads in areas but it fits just right. I spoke with Dave about a new suit and sending it out for alterations, so hopefully that thing gets here asap and it fits right. Should be another frankensuit!
