Monday training and new shirts available

I had a pretty interesting experience as a trainer yesterday. A guy who had come in the gym just to do a day pass last week. On his way out he asked me if I would do a session with him to help improve his deadlift while he was in town. We agreed to a time and we met up Sunday morning. What I didn’t know was this guy had come all the way from Australia, he lives there now but was formerly on the Dutch national Olympic lifting team. He has been backpacking across the states for months getting trained by every top trainer he could get a hold of. He had already worked with guys like Mike Robertson, Dan John and Mark Rippetoe before he got to me. I spent some time helping him with his set up and pull and hopefully I helped him make future improvements. It’s just pretty cool that through my incredibly riveting writing here on EliteFTS I can be mentioned in the same sentence as those guys. Too legit to quit.
Sunday Training:
I just worked on some snatch technique off of the floor. My wife was there and gave me a coaching eye on some technique work. Now that I’m not such a fat ass I can set up my snatches and do them from the floor rather than from the hang. So I did a whole mess of light ones.
Neck work: 10 sets
Standing abs: 5x8

Monday training:
Bench press:
135 + 80 in chains x 12
185 + 80 in chains x 12
225 + 80 in chains x 8
275 + 80 in chains x 5
325 + 80 in chains x 3
340 + 80 in chains x 2 (missed the third rep)
Removed chain weight
325 x 8, 6, 6

Flat dumbbell bench

Smith machine incline: 100 reps
