About The Speakers

Chad Wesley Smith, is the owner and head performance coach at Juggernaut Training Systems (JTSstrength.com) in Laguna Hills, CA. Chad is ranked #1 in the US among 308 pound weight class lifters in 2011 with a 2165 Total (865 squat, 515 bench, 785 deadlift) and #3 in the world. Chad is also the US Record Holder in the 308s with a 905 squat, which also ranks him 10th all-time in the world, regardless of weight class. Before beginning his short but dominant career in powerlifting, Chad was a 2x NAIA National Champion in the shot put. His PR of 63’10.25” ranked him 3rd among all collegiate athletes and 17th among US men during his senior year of college in 2009. Josh Bryant, is a speed, strength, and conditioning coach. He is also a personal trainer who works with many clients in person at Metroflex Gym in Arlington, Texas and via the internet. Along with ISSA certifications in fitness training, nutrition, and conditioning, Josh was recently awarded the prestigious title of Master of Fitness (MFS) by the ISSA. In addition to being certified by the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and NASM as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Josh is currently completing work on his master’s degree in exercise science. Josh has won many national and world titles in powerlifting and strongman and was the youngest person in powerlifting history, at 22, to bench press 600 pounds raw. Josh has squatted 909 (single ply) in the USPF, officially bench pressed 620 raw, and officially deadlifted 810 raw. To learn more about Josh Bryant or to contact him visit JoshStrength.com.

Bryan Fetzer, is in his first season as Virginia’s director of track and field/cross county after joining the Cavalier staff in December 2011 after two years at Harvard as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Fetzer, who has had stops in the SEC and the Pac 12, helped the Crimson bring in the No. 5 men’s track and field recruiting class in 2011 according to Track and Field News. At Harvard, Fetzer coached the sprinters, the vertical jumpers and the multi-event athletes. Prior to his time at Harvard, Fetzer spent three years as an assistant coach at Mississippi State, and helped guide the Bulldog’s men’s program to back-to-back 17th-place finishes at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. In addition to his work with collegiate athletes, Fetzer has consulted and worked on speed/power development and strength training with several professional athletes in the NFL, MLB, Arena Football League, WNBA and WUSA. Fetzer has also served on several national staffs for various countries for the World Junior Championships, the Commonwealth Games, the NACAC Under-23 Championships and the World University Games.

Nate Winkler, is co-owner and Head Performance Coach at Juggernaut Training Systems. A Division 1 basketball player, Nate also won two conference championships in the 100 and 200 meters in Track & Field, with a 10.58 second PR in the 100m. He has his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a pre-medical emphasis, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Nate specializes in speed training for all sports and nutritional counseling. Nate has had several articles published for EliteFTS.com and in Muscle and Fitness magazine. Nate also coordinates all of the nutritional and supplementation programs for Juggernaut’s elite athletes.
