Day 1 week 12 - squats, bench and Dl

Sorry this took three days post the session to get on here, but........ better late than never.

You ever feel like the clock ticks and instead of seconds passing, it's f****ng hours?

Sunday was a strange day, all the weights I have been using felt great, easy in a way. But anything above it just felt like a massive jump. Nonetheless, I pushed as much as possible and this be it:

After chatting with Dave Kirschen a bit about this he confirmed a suggestion my training partner, Sam Bremer, offered and that's to toss more weight on. I might just be holding myself back by forcing the shirt to work with certain weights instead of rolling with it and taking what it wants. So next week, I'll just do as typical but toss 20lbs more on each set...

as I near the meet, we run all three lifts to test work capacity. Make sure the meet is easier than training basically. So far, Landon has done a great job with the training, after meet I review all we have gone through and analyze what if anything I would consider doing differently.

my weight lately has been dramatically bouncing up and down. I have been traveling a lot, in fact the week of the meet I'm gone all week and won't return until friday evening. So I'm just not going to worry about weight at all. Right now, I wake up between 184-188. I have no clue how it bounces up so much and there is very little pattern to it. I don't change eating habits from what the scale says, so my only conclusion is the FLIGHT bloat theory...

Next week, I plan to just eat normal. Not change a thing, then Friday eat a little more than normal weigh in saturday morning and lift some weights.

I can only imagine what it's like to sit on my ass all week and get rubbed on, hot tubs and all this other shit people invest in to get ready for a meet. One of these times, I might just take a week off and do it - yeah right.
