Squat training with EliteFTS and Sampson Crew

Traveled down to Florida to train with Brian Carroll, Clint Smith, Adam Driggers and the rest of the Sampson Power crew (Tony, Jason, Shane, Chase).

First time doing a real back squat in a LONG time. Weights felt heavy because its been so long but moved well.

Squats up to 615x1.

3 rounds:
Lunges 50 steps
strict pullups x10
situps x 15

As i said, the weight felt heavy on my back but still moved well. I wanted to take over 7 but Brian talked me out of it... and it didnt take much effort. He said whats the point if its not gonna be a PR, just risk injury and be sore as hell for the rest of my vacation. I just wanted to reassure myself I could still hit over 735 on a moments notice. No doubt i could have done that today.

Ill take a good bench on Monday with the crew and guestimate where Im at.

Weight is about 230 in the mornings
