Week 7 Day 2 - Squats

Was in Omaha this week so I got to train with the big iron family and get some time in with Mickey, Mandy and noodle. Always fun visiting with the guys from there.

Got back into the king vtype again today, check it out:

warmed up
A&C

squats
bar x 2 x 5
145 x 2 x 5
235 x 5
325 x 3
Suit on (Straps down)
415 x 2
505 x 2
Wrapped knees
595 x 2 sets x 2 reps

Suit w/straps up (no knee wraps)
465 + 120lbs chain x 3 sets x 3 reps

this took a lot longer than it looks on paper. I had a dinner to head out to so I had no time for anything else.

I got an email from Trenton Chase about the HR issues and some thoughts on what other factors exist to also have an impact on it. So, I have started measuring my HR in the mornings to review stress levels overall. every morning it has been exactly between 82-86 beats per minute. This, for me, is slightly high. We have a lot going on at home (selling house, building a new one) and work (traveling, a lot of projects etc.) for me is very busy, basically a lot on mind and on my plate so stress is definitely something that has been high. All things are positive though, so the stress is there but it's not the panic type, just anxious and nervous about things.
