Squat / Pull Day

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. This is how I feel when I walk in to the gym every deload day. I took it very easy today as usual. My left upper outer quad has been acting up for a few weeks now and I am due for a good rest. I am going to take it very easy this week and skip any cardio until Saturday. I may even hold off on any rolling or mobility work and just rest. When I take it easy I mean I take it EEEEEEASY. I only have 4 weeks of training left before the meet. Next week will be a triple at 90%. I need to rest up and hit my numbers. The kid is still up all hours of the night still. I’m hoping she will get into a routine when she hits 3 months in a week. Despite feeling like crap and tired all day this training has gone very well. My weight has crept up to the 265 mark but I’m just rolling with it. Its either not sleep and not eat or not sleep and eat. I’m eating!

Warm up

Soft tissue work: ELITEFTS roller, rumble roller, theracain, stick, and lacrosse ball.

I hit my entire body for 10minutes.

Mobility Work: 10 movements for 1 set of 10 reps each

Raw Squat

135 for 5 2 sets
235 for 3 2 sets

Raw Sumo Deadlift

245 for 5

Step ups

2 sets of 8 with 145

Knee Ext

2 sets of 8 with light weight

Good Mornings

2 sets of 8 with 145
