RSC - Phase 3 Day 1 - Squats & deads

This phase, I plan to kick it up a notch with my consistency and efforts. I need to get in here and start making gains and not wasting time going through the motions and maintaining. Yesterday was fun, check it out:

Warmed up
A&C

Squats
bar x 10
135 x 8
225 x 5
315 x 4
405 x 4
375 x 4 x 4 reps

Sumo Deads
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 4
405 x 4
455 x 2 x 4 reps
*First time, in two months, using sumo stance. It felt incredibly weak.



Looking at the video, for anyone working on technique, the first thing I see is how far my ass is from the bar. Two items contributing to this: Lack of flexibility in the adductor area allowing me to open up more or I'm just not driving my knees out hard enough to get my groin closer to the bar? Might be a little or a lot of both..
