Wednesday 2-6 Training

It has been two weeks on my olympic lifting program. The only thing I have to report so far is that I really have to be more mindful of my warming up. All the balistic work is tough on my already sore joints but I'm doing my best to be patient and keep improving my technique to stave off injury. I'm still in a very light low volume phase right now. I also stopped wearing a belt. I used to use it a lot and I just quit cold turkey.

Power snatch off high block (I'm going to get a video of this exercise for you next time I do these) Did a bunch of light sets and worked up to a single with 90kgs.

Snatch grip RDL's
90kgs x 8
100 x 8
110 x 8
120 x 8
130 x 8
140 x 8

High-bar squats
50kgs x 5
70 x 5
90 x 5
110 x 5
130 x 5
150 x 3
170 x 1


"When I'm wearing my dad jeans with my shirt tucked in and I see another guy in his dad jeans I always give him a nod. As if to say, "You're damn right we're cool!"
