UPDATE

Since my last deadlift day I have benched, trained upper back, and squatted.

Bench has gotten strong and I an over thinking my training on it. I feel like I need to touch the lightest weights possible, but have been unsuccessful several times. In the past I have NEVER touched leading up to the meet. On meet day I make it happen. I know this is not the best way to go about training but it works well for me. So today (Monday, Feb 18th) I will hit one more heavy day of benching and then recover over the next two weeks.

My upper back training has been good and I have been moving some high reps heavy weights on barbell rows. I like these a lot and they have been kicking my ass! I will hit upper back two more times before the meet.

My last squat was Friday Feb 15th. I worked up to my last warm up and it felt great. The weight is feeling light and my body is ready for some rest leading into the meet.

I am very excited to compete with the greatest lifters in the world. It will help build me into the lifter I want to be. I am very greatful for the support I have from my teammates and sponsors. Brian Carroll has been a great help and influence on my training. Time to put all of the hard training to work. See everyone soon!!!
