5 days out from the Arnold...

It is now 5 days out from the Arnold. I am competing in the 198lb weight class. This is probably the biggest meet I've ever done. I have never been to an Arnold or Olympia so I'm pretty excited to see what it all entails. I get in Thursday late at nite and weigh in early Friday morning. Hopefully well get to spend the day at the expo and I can hoard a bunch of free supps! I did my last squat session Saturday which was totally lame. I did 650 for a single and that was it. The last 2 weeks before the meet are so boring, its hard to get through it because the gym is boring, not to mention that I cut out my accessory work about 2 weeks ago. I am feeling great and all of my lifts were pretty easy for how heavy they were. I never set my openers into stone because you never know how youre going to be feeling at the meet, what an opener may mean for placing or even for your total. At the current time id like to open with something like this:

770 squat
473 bench
675 deadlift

All of those seems pretty reasonable to open with, I like to open with something very easy to get the pressure off, you can always make big jumps on your seconds if you need to.

My seconds, granted my openers are easy are setting up something like this:

830 squats
501 bench
723 deadlift

Anything after those will be subject to how the lift went, my seconds would all be PRs so I would be happy with those as my best lifts!
