I know I have been MIA for some time now. But there is good reason for it. This past week has been one heck of a busy week.
It started with a trip down to Wichita for a few days to visit a hospital. We did our thing there and as much as I enjoy Wichita, I had zero time to do anything. Putting together presentations and getting ready for them takes more time than anyone can imagine. Anyways, that was the first three days.
After that, headed up to Kansas City to finally close on our home. We have recently been tied up dealing with all the fun and frustration that is home building. For the most part, this was an awesome experience. Really enjoyed doing it, we had a wonderful builder and luckily my wife and I had a lot of the same ideas and tastes. Sooooo, wrote a big check and signed a thousand forms then off to the airport to pick up my folks.
My parents came down from southern california to help out with the move. They are two awesome people. They party with me in vegas, discipline me, support me and best of all spoil me LOL....
The move was nasty. It was three days long, the first day four of my buds came out to help and they rocked. Mike Greeno, Jeff Frank, Greg Denny and Dave. These guys saved my ass for an entire day. I cannot thank them enough.
Anyways, the past few days I have spent unloading boxes and getting things put together. It's been a nasty few days.
I did train saturday, did some bench and deadlifting. All 90-95% of my opener in gear.
I plan to still compete despite having three total days of training in 3 weeks. I should be fine I think. I'm excited none the less. Should be a great time.
I'll keep you guys posted on how things go. I'm optimistic.
