First squat session back
Sunday was my first squat session since before the Arnold.
I was feeling pretty good, but kept it light to avoid doing anything dumb. Something you learn as you progress in this sport is that immediately post-meet is the easiest time to get hurt.
This is because your nervous system is still jacked up and strong, but your tissues are weakened from the deloads and meet stress.
Everyone was doing speed work, so I joined them with just 315 and an average band.
Wound up doing 6 sets of 2 with this weight. I felt really fast and my technique was good. Something interesting I noticed was that I seem to have better form with a wider grip then I'm used to. I'm going to keep playing with this over the next few weeks.
Finished up with 4 sets of reverse hypers and 4 sets of inclined sit-ups.
