Thursday UPPER BACK

I normally train upper back and deads on Wednesday. This week I did not because some of my training partners schedules were messed up and I was beat from K-9 Training.

I am trying to get my Police K-9 dog ready for USPCA regionals, so I can compete there and not look like a clown. In order to get him ready I had to introduce in to hurdles which means my fat ass has to run next to him until he catches on. I am pretty sure he will learn fast so I can just stand there and yell "up" and he will do all of the work.

The other event that is kicking my butt is BOXES. There are six boxes set up in two rows of three. My job is to teach Atlas (my dog) to run to each box and check them individually. So for me that means running with him from box to box making him sniff two sides of the box. That way when the trial comes I can stand there and tell him to check the boxes and he will do so without a problem. There will be a person in one of the boxes and Atlas' job is to check all of the boxes and alert on the box that the person is in.

As far as UPPER BACK training I did the following on Thursday.
