April 3, Wednesday Squat/Deadlift Day

Stretch and rolled

As of lately my training has not been as fun as I'm use to. This has been because of lower back and hip pain. There's no worse way to start a squat or deadlift session than in damn pain before you start. Before you say well then don,t do it. My answer would be "Bullshit". That's not an option. It's never been an option for me to quit. When I can no longer stand up, then I will quit. As long as I can breath, I will not be the average man. I could take some strong pain pills but I not only hate the way they makes me feel, but I feel on most workout days once I get started I usually feel better after warming up and stretching. And most pain meds give me a feeling to want to go relax rather than workout. Right now I just take Meloxicam once a day. Having said all that I will need to adjust my training. I'm considering pulling once every three weeks. Which I feel will give me more recovery time. So my workout may seem all over the place until I figure out what works best for me. Here's the way Wednesday went.


Safety bar squats
Raw with/knee wraps

Added knee wraps
474x3
523x2
540x1
567x1

Shrugs
3x12 heavy

I was suppose to do GHRs but didn't. I waited to long while helping my training partners.
