Floor presses and thoughts on Boston.

First off, my thoughts are with any of you who were affected by the tragic events in Boston.

I grew up in NYC, and lived there through 9/11. If there's any words of advice or encouragement I can offer, it's that events like these pull communities together, and often reveal far more good then evil. I had never, and have since never been as proud to be a New Yorker as I was in the months following the 9/11 attack.


Didn't do much last Wed. I was supposed to squat for sets of 5, but my back was still a little wreaked from the previous weeks Deadlifts. Just did a little too much, too soon.

Thursday was floor presses for 3x5 at Eastside.

Worked up like so"

Bar x a bunch
95 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 5
255 x 3 x 5

Nice and easy work here. Trying to learn my lesson from last week and build my volume up slowly.

Next up were hammer strength low rows. Did 4 sets of 10 with 100s on each side.

Hit some band pushdowns and was done.
