Speed Squats... Feelin Better! With Video

Sunday was speed squat day at Eastside.

The plan was to hit 6-8 sets with about 50% and 5 chains (150ish at the top). Like e usually do, we squatted to foam, which helps build our hips up.

My back had been a little beat up the past few days after pushing it like a dumbass on deficit deadlifts two weeks ago. I was really hoping it wouldn't be an issue here.

Felt really good! I could still feel some soreness in my back, but it didn't seem to slow me down.

The second movement of the day was a rack pull with doubled mini-bands. I did a few warm-up sets and quickly realized that this was not the day for it, lol. I was feeling a lot better, but still needed to be careful.

To finish up, I did 4 sets of 15 back extensions, 4 sets of 15 side bends with bands, and 4 planks (60 seconds each)

Done.
