Floor presses 3x5. Not completely worthless!
Thursday was bench night at Eastside.
This is a volume night for me. The goal was to go up to 3 sets of 5 with 275. I warmed up like I usually do, taking plate and quarter jumps up to my top weight, then hit my 3 x 5 with the 275.
The last time I did floor presses,it was about a month before the Arnold and I went to the same weight for 5x5. Considering the fact that I'm still a little de-trained and 20 lbs lighter, I was pretty happy with this. I'll rotate in a couple of waves with different movements, then I'll go for a repetition pr next time I do them.
Finished with v-grip pulldowns and band triceps extensions.
