Wednesday April 25, Squat and Deadlift night with/VIDEO
Stretched and rolled
Before I even started warming up, I knew I wanted to squat heavy tonight. My back hurt as usual. It always hurts every day around 5 or 6. That's crazy right?! I know. Anyway with my style of squatting I realize in order for my deadlift to go up I have to squat heavy. Regardless if I go deep or not. As long as I'm close to parallel it will help my back and hips get stronger to pull. I use a lot of back when I'm squatting.
Everything went well and I was able get some heavy weight on my back. The 733 set felt like I could have did reps.
Squat Raw with Belt/knee wraps 165x8 165x5 165x5 275x5 385x3 496x1 606x1 672x1 733x1 Felt easy. Stopped there.
Front squats 275x5 385x3
Deads Light speed pulls 225x4x3sets
