Raw bench for fives (last two)

Ok, I occurred to me when I sat down to write this that I forgot to log last weeks bench work, which was 3 sets of 5 with 245, close grip. Soooo...for the folks playing along at home, the following is the second week in that 3-week wave.

Thursday night was bench at Eastside. Last week I did 3 sets of 5 with 245 (actually did 10 on the last one), so tonight the goal was 265 for 3 sets of 5 and maybe a couple more on the last. Since I wasn't working up that high, I was once again sharing the rack bench with Ferret.

When the f*ck did I get demoted to the B team anyway? Oh right, when I decided to neglect my raw bench all those years.

Anyhoo, here's how it went.

Bar for a bunch
95 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
265 x 2 x 5
265 x 7

The first two sets of 5 were easy, so I did 7 on the last one. Like last week, I stuck with my closest grip, which has my pointer fingers right at the smooth.

After the benching, we did some standing t-bar rows with the Core Blaster.

Worked up to 4 sets of 5 with 3 plates and a 25.

Finished the night with 4 sets of 12 cable triceps pushdowns.
