Floor Presses

Sorry for another delay in the log. Things have actually taken an exciting turn professionally and I've been a little distracted. Getting caught up as best I can.

Saturday was a bench workout at EVF Performance. I started a 3-week floor press wave and this was the first day.

Warmed up and went:

Bar x a bunch
95 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
250 x 3 x 5

The weight was really, really easy, but that will wave up over the next couple of weeks.

Here was the last set.





After the floor pressing, I did 4 sets of 15 fat-guy pullups on the rings and called it a day.

I'm still noticing a trend of getting stronger despite less assistance work. 250 isn't much weight, but it was noticeably easier then the last time I ran a floor press cycle. Not going to question it... just gonna go with it until it stops working and I need to up my volume again.
