Wednesday was block deadlifts at EVF Performance in NYC.
I had skipped last week because my back was a little messed up. Nothing serious, just not taking care of myself how I should.
Felt a bit better this week though so I went up to my normal 3x5, this time with 375. It's a light weight, but block deadlifts kick my ass and I've been going at it without my belt to try and get my back & abs stronger.
The first two sets at 375 went ok, if a bit slow off the blocks. I opted to use my belt on the last on to see what kind of difference it made. I knocked out 10 speed reps and could have done 20.
So yeah, I guess there is a deficiency there, lol.
Finished with some kettlebell windmills (to keep working on hip mobility), and sit-ups over the glute-ham raise.
