Training and stuff 6-12-13
Tuesday 6-11-13 I did legs:
Leg extensions: 5 sets 5 sets of 15
Leg press: 4 sets with heavy band tension and slow painful grinding reps
Back squat: worked up to 5 sets of 6
GH raise: 4 sets of 20
Standing abs: 4 sets of 12
Went throwing with Nikita, a girl I started training for highland games. She has been doing amazing. I sucked a big bag of dicks.
28lb weight for distance
42lb weight for height.
We only took about a dozen throws in each event. My old body is not ready for any more than that. The good news is the throwing seemed to pop my shoulder back in to place. The bad news is now my back feels haggar. It's going to take a few more practices to get my body more conditioned to withstand really hard throws.
