Last couple, bench and squat
New job is going great, but has distracted me from my log just a bit, here are the last two from Sunday and Monday.
Sunday was a speed/deload day with the cambered squat bar. I worked up to 3 sets of 2 with 370 and another 3 sets of two with 410.
Also worked up in the deadlift. I wanted to work on the heavy side but didn't want to do a meet style lift. I wound up pulling sumo in my brief with one chain and hit a clean lift with 515. I'm still a little slow off the floor so I know I need to get my back stronger. That is still a decent pull for me with just a brief and the chain.
Monday was a bench day at Apollon. I just got my Metal Catapult not too long ago and I was looking forward to putting it through it's paces.
I worked up to 335 raw which felt good, but not good enough to go for raw pr. Slipped the Catapult on and went:
All in all a good day. This is the most I've handled in a slingshot type device.
Finished with low pulley rows and rope. extensions.
