Saturday was a great day as far as everybody showing up to squat. We had enough people to get the job done. Sam Byrd was a no-show. I've since found out that he squatted on Sunday and has injured his hip. I hope everything is fine. Wishing him a speedy recovery. My back wasn't 100% today after pulling off the block on Wednesday. Before I did my last set I was already starting to get drained, so I decided to just do a couple of reps and keep the workout short and sweet. Humidity was very high. Okay, here it is:
Warmed up on front squats with the harness first. I worked up to 225 to stretch my hips out. I have found that doing this before squatting helps my hips get warmed up and loose.
Called it a day.
