A couple from last week, Goodmornings and a nice raw bench pr!
Still a little behind. work is busy, but training is going really well, should only be a couple more log posts before I'm caught up.
Wednesday was a ss bar goodmorning session at EVF Performance. I started this cycle a couple of weeks ago but got side tracked by my back acting up. It wasn't anything serious, but I also didn't want to make it serious. This time however, I felt good so I went with it.
Worked up to 2 sets of 5 with 205, then a final set of 10 with the same weight. It's not all that heavy, but the ss bar sucks so I'm progressing slowly with it. Did some abb crap after that and was done.
Thursday I rounded out a three week cycle of raw bench. The previous week I had gone up to 3 sets of 5 with 280, with the plan of doing 300 here. I was feeling good while I worked up, so said f-it and went 315. Got 2 sets of 5 and stopped there. The last one was hard and I didn't have spotters I trusted.
Still 315 for 5 is a pr, so i was pretty psyched, even though it wasn't 3 sets.
Did some ring fat-guy pull-ups and called it a day.
