I'm going to put myself out there, as I really have nothing to hide or be scared of.
Brian Hopper is a friend of mine, and a 1000+ equipped squatter at 242. He got bit by the raw bug a while back, and is really pushing hard to hit big numbers in this way of lifting.
I love all types of lifting ( coach many, many raw lifters), and will never rip on anyone for their choice of lifting, I just cant stand when people of a particular lifting fashion belittle others accomplishments just because they do or do not compete a certain way. Its stupid.
Anyway, back to accountability: Here is brians best lifts from a recent meet. I have him for 15 weeks and have to take him to the next level. I'll be handling his pre-hab, warm-up, diet, programming and coaching.
Lets see what happens in 15 weeks!
A few things that we will focus on right away are, but not limited to:
Squat: Quad strength, and upper back tightness and position -- staying Tighter all over
Bench: leg drive and lockout power
Dead: positioning and speed from the floor (quads again)
