Week 6/20 XPC Arnold squat/DL day with VIDEO

16 weeks out from the XPC Arnold Finals. I’m now transitioning into a normal block of training and adding gear in slowly. My best lifts since March 1 are 800 squat, 675 bench, and a 605 deadlift. This is soon to change.

After visiting Dr. Mcgill for a second time on 10/30, I’m now progressing with hip mobility and strength progressions.

I haven't taken any big weights since March 1 of 2013. Meet prep starts in December, for prep for Arnold XPC finals

*As I was warming up, I could feel that the coming weeks deload was going to be necessary! I didn't feel bad, just a little beat up.

Squat w/Jack suit and Viking brief:
550x1 - all straps down

Sumo dead from 4" block:

It was time to shut it down after the deads. NO pain, just fatigue. 910 felt good on my back, zero issues aside from being weak. Whats funny is the small muscles in feet, calves, feet, shins etc were shaking like crazy as I'm not used to the stability needed in those areas when handling big weights again, and they were fatiguing.

Same thing on the deadlift.. But its coming around. Still weak, but each week making progress. The 4" block puts me in a very bad starting position, but I wedge and squeeze it out. ZERO PAIN.

I skipped my pause squats, and hit the road.

Next week is a fluff and buff/light session and will work on some conditioning and recovery. stuff.

Plan on putting the straps up on the squat suit in a few weeks, as well as pulling from the floor in some gear.
