This past Sunday was a raw squat session at Eastside.
My training partners were working up in full gear, in preparation for an RPS meet in January. Since I already suited up a couple of weeks ago at LTTS, I didn't feel the need to do it again, so I opted to just go at it raw for the day.
Warmed up with the bar for a bunch (60), then went:
110 x 5
150 x 5
200 x 5
260 x 1
310 x 1
350 x 1
400 x 1
440 x 1
475 x 1
505 x 1
Here is the 505
On the 440, I brought my stance in a little, and it sucked real bad. It wound up being a slow grind. For the 475 and 505 I brought my stance back out and wrapped my knees. I wound up getting a ton of pop out of the wraps, even though they weren't even on tight. Apparently my body just loves gear in any form. You can even hear Justin say "I really need to try those knee wraps" after I wrack the bar.
You can try them too
EFS Krait™ Knee Wrap 300 cm
After the squats, I did some rack pulls from pin two. Made it up to 545 using a hook grip. Pin two is a tough setting, so I will be getting back to it soon!
Some pulldown abs with a strong band and I was out of there.
