Lower Deload + Final Phase for the Arnold

I am currently training for The 2014 Arnold Amateur Strongman Fitness World Championships. This will be held at The Arnold Sports Festival Feb. 28th through March 2nd in Columbus, Ohio. I’ll be competing in the Lightweight 185# division.

I'm finishing up my deload week and starting Phase #2 of my Arnold Prep tomorrow morning with strongman event day. While I don't love deload weeks I do know the purpose and my body always welcomes them. I was also able to get in a full body massage this week and an Epsom salt to help aid in recovery.

I'm feeling fresh and ready to get back at it. I've made a few final tweaks to my final phase of programming going into the Arnold. No major changes, just a few small things. I'm really excited to see how things come together for the big day.

I also hit a new low bodyweight of 200 yesterday. So I'm sitting at a very good point at the moment. My diet will have some changes starting Monday to help dial me in to make weight.
