Friday - Heavy Bench Work

The boss gave me the afternoon off on Friday, so instead of sitting around, like I should have done, I drove to CT to train with the boys.

I'm so burned out with work. All I do is work, travel and sit on the couch. Absolutely no social life, whatsoever. This is the bad part of my job.

I should've gone to the bar and looked at beautiful women, but I lifted weights with a bunch of fat guys. I need to reexamine my life choices.

I was extremely happy with the 410x3. About 4-5 weeks ago I missed 405x3. That's when the mental wheels came off. I still need to gain some weight, but hitting the 410x3 really made me feel good. On top of that, I weigh the same. So, obviously I've gotten a bit stronger. I just need to keep eating, resting and staying focused for another 4 weeks.

Vincent and Brian met me for pre-game meal at the diner. After training Vincent, Brian, Karsten and Josh came to McDonald's for some post-game feeding.

Next week doubles followed by two weeks of singles. The meet can't get here fast enough.
