PT/Rehab - Week 10 of 28 - Day 2

I've had to start pushing the pace a rehab a little due to my boss, the recreation and parks director, basically telling me that If I don't have ~100% clearance from my doctor come the 23rd of March then I will be let go and lose my job. He of course wrapped a lot of bullshit around the message, but that's what it boiled down to. The reason the 23rd is the deadline is because that's when my FMLA leave time runs out and they either want me back by then or they will let me go and hire someone else for my position.

So what I've been doing are finger wall walks at home, but done in a doorway so that I can step forward and get a good stretch. It has helped a lot in just the last three days and has helped move my flexion ROM from 152° last week to 165°. I feel this is a great improvement and something that my doctor may see and sway him to sign off on my return to work at 100% release. My abduction ROM went from 120° to 144° if I remember correct, but both internal and external ROM dropped since Mason and Blair were inhibiting my ability to cheat and lift my shoulder off the table; they're both well within normal ROM though.

I'm going to continue with the wall walks on a daily basis and do 3 sets of 10 walks and hold it at the top for 8-10 seconds each walk. I'll try to get a video of it when I can and I'll be sure to wear a really tight shirt, stroke my beard, wink at the camera and put it to some really hardcore music.
