10/20/LIFEā¢ Week 3, day 2 - Wednesday Squat and DL assistance and ebook update
I'm working all 3 lifts on Saturday right now - and the other days are supplemental - to build up (even more) load tolerance in my lower back. The issue is moving from the bench to dead. I'm thinking this will be a good trial run over the next couple months.
I did have a phone convo with Dr. Mcgill on Saturday 3/15, and He agreed that this is a good theory and sound logic, but we will have to see how it plays out.
Notes: I was feeling a little beat up coming into this session, so a fluff and buff was in order.
I still put the work in, but took the intensity and weight down a bit.
Mcgill pull-up: 8 singles
DB row: 3x10
DB shrug: 3x10
One arm KB swing: 3x10ea
KB goblet: 3x10
Mcgill big 3: various timed efforts
Good session, but nothing special. I'm planning on deloading next week after this coming Saturdays work with squat/bench/Dead. I'm going to push this Saturday harder than the previous 3, and work to an RPE of 8 on all 3 lifts or so, then shut it down for a week.
10/20/LIFE ebook will be ready and for sale next week. I'm very, very proud of this book as I put a lot of effort into this book in every way. I will talk a lot more about this book as the week comes to a close.
