Deadlift 555 x 7 PR w/Video and more...

I am currently training for the task of becoming a new dad while balancing training, work, buying a new house, moving and life... While preparing for my next competition, St. Louis' Strongest Man. This will be held on May 10th. I’ll be competing in the Lightweight 231# division. I also will also be defending my title as St. Louis' Strongest Man 2013.

Deadlifts went well this week. Working on finding my rhythm on touch and go reps for St. Louis, as the deadlift event is:

650 Farmer Handle Deadlift x 2
450 Axle Deadlift x 2
475 Barbell Deadlift x Max Reps
75 second time limit.


Everything is going pretty good and my body is handling the increased activity, volume and calories pretty well. Bodyweight was 205 on Wednesday morning. Looking to keep pushing that up over the next few months, but with "clean" weight. I'm not trying to look like chewed bubblegum for the summer.
