Training May 03, 2014

Todd had a prior obligation today and was unable to be at the gym. I have several training partners but Todd is who I have been training with the longest and he’s my anchor. He is always straight with me and genuinely wants to see me succeed. Without him being here I have to be a little more conservative and more conscious about what I am doing. Training broke down like this…


Warm-ups

Treadmill, rolling, stretching



Squats

Warmed up doing triples to 330
Put on Ace briefs
Continued to work up to 510 doing triples
Put on Ace squat suit – straps down
Worked up to 635 for 2 sets of 3 reps
675 for a double
700 for a single
Added reverse light bands
770 for a single



Deadlifts against quaded monster mini bands

Worked up to 225 for 5 singles



GHR

Bodyweight for 4 sets of 12



Hanging leg raises

Held 8 pound medicine ball between feet for 3 sets of 12



I pulled back a little on the squats. I didn’t use any knee wraps and my head was a little off. The weights felt fine and moved okay but I just felt off.
