Strongman Event Day
I am currently training to add some muscle mass and increase my strength during an off-season phase. My next competitive plans are undetermined at this time, but if my schedule allows I'll be doing NAS Strongman Nationals in October. I'm also adjusting to raising a new baby boy while still working, training and living life.
I was a bit worried my quad would bother me today, but after covering it in eliteftsâ„˘ Arctic Sports Balm, foam rolling and putting on my compression shorts it felt pretty good. And I actually had no pain during the workout. Given squats are what bothered it the most, I was still worried that axle press or moving events may aggravate it today. Luckily things went pretty good.
