Lower Body - Deadlifts & Squats w/rep PR - 7 Weeks / 9 Weeks Out

I am currently training for The 2014 North American Strongman (NAS) National Championship as well as the Strongman Champions League (SCL) England u90kg. NAS Nationals will be held Oct. 4th & 5th in Reno, NV and the Strongman Champions League will be held Oct. 18th in Southampton, England. I'm also adjusting to raising a new baby boy while still working, training and living life.

Lower body training went great this week. I started my first week of my short 6 week peaking cycle on deadlifts and I'm working on hitting some reps on squats since there is a squat for reps event in England. The pulls were fast and lockouts felt very strong. Since I've been working on my lockout strength for most of my training since March I'm happy to see this.
