Log & Circus DB - 1 Week Out England

I am currently training for the Strongman Champions League (SCL) England u90kg. It will be held Oct. 18th in Southampton, England. I'm also adjusting to raising a new baby boy while still working, training and living life.

Coming off of Nationals I didn't really feel too beat up. This is definitely a good thing. However my sleep has been crap this week. I got sick Sunday night after the competition and didn't get much sleep. Then spent 11+ hours traveling on Monday getting home late Monday night around midnight. I slept some that night, but had to get up early for work Tuesday. Then Tuesday night I could not sleep at all. I got about 2 hours of sleep total. Wednesday and Thursday night I caught up a bit, but I'm still dragging and feel pretty fatigued. Hopefully this weekend I'll catch back up on my sleep and feel better heading into next week. I also didn't eat much on Saturday as we were competing and on the competition field for 12+ hours. Sunday wasn't much better because when I finally could eat I was sick and had no appetite. Monday I was on a plane (or sitting on the runway as I didn't switch planes) most of the day and didn't get any real food until about 8:30pm. I've been packing in the calories every since just to stay where I'm currently sitting which is just around 202. I won't complain though because this will make the cut for England pretty easy where I'll have to weigh in at 198.

Yesterday I got back to training to hit what I needed before next weekend.
