Time off and story of the day

Fun is over. Back to reality and I miss training already.

Taking a week off completely and plan to just train regularly for the next month. I think it’s important for your body to take a break from the heavy lifting. What I usually do in this “time off” from training is, listen to my body. If I want to train bench, I’ll train bench. If I don’t want to train any main movements, I’ll just do GPP work. That also gives me time to prepare for what I'm doing next. Dates for Nationals haven’t been posted yet and depending on that, I will decide if I can prep for a powerlifting meet before then.

Story of the day:
So I usually get a smoothie before class and as I’m waiting, this tall, thin guy asks me “what’s good here?”
I replied: “well, the razzmatazz is pretty good but may be too fruity for you, but I add whey protein in it.”
He goes: “oh yea? You trying to get swole (as he flexes)?”
I replied: “not at all (as I flex)." I don’t think he expected that.
Let's just say, he got the razzmatazz.
