Max Friday: Weightlifting PRs!

Currently undergoing Chemotherapy to treat Systemic Ulcerative Colitis as a last measure.

Fridays are pretty tough because it is the only day of the week where I feel decent but it is Weightlifting Day and since I haven't had a decent snatch and clean and jerk session since the Friday before...I can't expect to be even remotely GOOD at either of the lifts.

My joints are still in a ton of pain through my upper arms (inside the bones) as well as inside my upper and lower thighs so I did a ton of therapy work.

Snatch:
warm ups
60 x a couple
70 x 1
80 x 1
90 x 1
100 x 1
110 x 1
85 x 1 pull, 1 snatch x 5 sets (finding and fixing mistakes)

Cleans:
60 x a few
80 x a few
90 x a few
105 x a few misses
...couldn't get my fingers to turn over and my hook grip won't release. My fingers LOCK onto the barbell and physically do not release which means with my flexibility I will miss the clean.

I also need to step more forward, more downwards, bend my back leg more, keep the bar closer to me all the way up the lift, etc...

60 x 3 x 2 sets, felt better

Weightlifting Squats
I have a pull in my hamstring/adductor area that hurts non-stop so it took me a long LONG time to get warmed up.
245/540 x 2...PR

138 x 1...PR



Celebrated for a few minutes and went home and started taking doses of chemo.

Really glad that my P2 Belt is so flexible. I've added 10 holes in it since Summer 2013 and I only have a few left.
