I WILL master the squat - speed squats
My form is not perfect, there are a lot of things I need to improve on; my abductors is definitely one of them. I have so much trouble keeping my knees apart and spreading the floor. Some things that have helped me with that is taking the time to actually warm up for squats (foaming, lateral lunges, and side steps with the bands) and using the band around my knees while squatting on dynamic days.
1. 195 lbs wide stance 9 x 2
2. Deloaded to 145 lbs with mini monster bands around my knees - really focusing on sitting back and forcing my knees apart.
3. Speed pulls on a deficit (2 matts) with red bands 185 lbs 6 x 1
