ME box squats against chains (buffalo bar)
Squats went well overall. Need to work on spreading the floor more with my box squats, and squats in general, but chains may have been setup too high.
1. 195 lbs + 100 lbs of chains with the buffalo bar (bar weighs 55 lbs) - 5 x 2
2. Straight weight with 225 lbs 5 x 5
3. Deadlifts (for speed) with 225 lbs 5 x 3
4. Belt Squat marching for 3 x 100 count
I got this idea from Laura Phelps where she simulated the belt squat movement. I just took my belt, looped a band around the squat rack and belt, tightened it, and began marching. You can do this movement for time as well, I was in a rush to get home, so the count to 100 (50 each side) was fast and to the point. This is a great movement to develop your glutes and hips and awesome to try if you do not have access to a belt squat machine.
