Training January 13, 2015

Headed to the compound today feeling pretty good. I had very little soreness from the weekend. Things are settling down a bit and I’m getting a routine plus my bodyweight is getting closer to my normal training weight. I’ve got two more overnight shifts to work Friday nights and then my weekend training should return to normal too. As for today, here is what I did….


Warm-ups

Stationary bike (3 minutes), rolling, stretching, band pull aparts



Hack squats

Sled for 2 sets of 20 reps
1 plate per side for 2 sets of 20 reps
2 plates per side for 2 sets of 20 reps



Scorchers

3 sets of 12 reps (no band tension)




Seated hamstring curls

1 plate for 15 reps
2 plates for 3 sets of 12 reps



Abductor machine

70 for 100 reps



Adductor machine

70 for 100 reps



Hack squats felt good and I got a good pump. My range of motion seems to be a little off. I can’t really tell what’s not firing correctly but I get tight quickly as I descend with the sled. I’m going to see if I can get in for an Active Release Therapy treatment soon.
