DE UPPER: Eccentric Block Week Two

Ohio to begin working as a graduate teaching associate at Ohio State and lift at Ludus Magnus. I am a raw lifter who competes in the 105lb weight classes, and am currently prepping for my next meet (when grad school finally gives me a weekend off) . Currently, I am in the process of trying to accomplish my lofty lifting goals,survive graduate school, and teach undergraduates about what I really love, TRAINING..

DE UPPER: Eccentric Block Week Two


Warm up
Some aerobic work

Neural prep
1.OHP to press
Up to 1+1 to 95
Then then 2+2 85


Training
1. Max effort contrast speed bench with cambered bar (no leg drive)
8sets x 3+1 reps
Note: One set is:
3 reps x 50%-4 count eccentric down,fast up
1 rep x 75%fast up and down

2a. 4 count eccentric plyo push-ups
3 x 3

2b. Single arm lat pull down
3 x 5

2c. Standing crunches with band
3 x 20
