ME Bench - PR with improved form

Couldn't train yesterday because a friend had an emergency and needed my help and support. Of course, I was there. No questions asked.

Then today I woke up early because I had to go to work, so I didn't get as much sleep as I anticipated. But I was looking forward to training and really taking all the great advice that I got from everyone into consideration.

1. Straight bench: Worked up to 175 lbs for 3 x 2 (PR!)

Looking at the video, I can tell my form looked better (ass to bench); I was more comfortable with the adjusted form (belly out and the bar met better descending from the bench); and this time I was able to press (with a slight pause) more explosive and controlled -- but this time with 2 reps for 3 sets.

Not only was this a big PR, but it definitely took off some stress about how I would perform in the meet and gave me more confidence to hit numbers I really want to attempt.

This was followed by:

2. JM presses 3 x 10 (light)

3a. Pulldowns 3 x 12
3b. Standing cable rows 3 x 12

4. Stiff arms 3 x 20

5. Tricep pushdown 3 x 20
