Benching, and dieting (10 weeks out)

I am currently training for The Canadian Championships. This will be my first time competing in the open category. I hope to set new National records and qualify for worlds

Training went fairly well yesterday, other than my usual running around between each set in search of a half decent spotter (One of these days I'll find a suitable training partner). Bar speed was much better on the heavier sets. Some big improvements!

The joys of 'dieting'
I am finding that trying to cut weight for a weigh-in two hours before my meet is too hard on my body. I want to perform at my best for nationals, which means I am going to try to slowly drop my weight now. I need to weigh 63 kilos (thats 138.6 lbs) at 1pm on April 7th. Right now I weigh about 142-143lbs around mid-day.
I will slowly be fine tuning my already very healthy diet. Having chronic health issues makes dieting very hard, so I will have to take this one day at a time. for most, 5lbs is nothing, but for me, this will be the hardest part of my meet prep.
